Hanna of Acacia End of Life Services and Stone & Spoon have been thrilled to team up and host monthly Death Cafes. Join us for the next Death Cafe on Tuesday, December 19th at 5-7PM.

What is a Death Cafe? A Death Cafe is a social franchise. Hosts/facilitators sign up and follow principles and guidelines while using the name Death Cafe.

Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'. A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session. The evening is a lot like any other group discussion you've been to, except we talk about DEATH and all things death related. Conversations are free flowing and the evening doesn't have a set agenda. These conversations evolve naturally and everyone is welcome to contribute, however, staying quiet and observing your first time is OK too!

We provide the coffee, water, and light snacks -- you just show up!
